Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 can of Yuengling Lager
  • ΒΌ cup kosher salt
  • ΒΌ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 2 chopped jalapeΓ±o
  • 2 ribs of chopped celery
  • 1 Tbsp black peppercorns
  • 3 tablespoons of your favorite Cajun seasoning

Steps

  1. Place meat in an air-tight sealed bag
  2. Mix salt, brown sugar, thyme, garlic, rosemary, peppercorns, and cajun seasoning into a bowl
  3. Pour all liquid ingredients, onion, celery, and jalapeΓ±o into the bag. Follow with seasoning mixture
  4. Seal the bag and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
